This might be one of the harshest clashes I’ve seen thus far, collectively, between masculine and feminine energy, as well as light and dark energies. But if the contrast is getting this heightened, so is the illumination and excavation of collective shadows.

I’ve also never had so many non-followers comment on my work with such disdain and opposition. Like are you even on my algorithm? It’s Christian shame and religious fear, its male shame, and its survival mechanisms (every man for himself) resurfacing with fangs and claws. And damn, does it have a nasty bite and a frantic roar.

Right now, this energy is chaotic, a bit manic and there are very clear warnings of psychosis. There is a strong resistance to rest, a clashing wave of hopelessness and despair, and bad sleeping habits. I have been bombarded by this recently…and felt as if I can’t quite access rest. No matter how much I stretch, exercise, breathe or zen out, it’s almost immediately gone and the outside noise resurfaces in all its wowed and impending doom.

Astral plunges—the plunging into emotions of another through the astral plane. These surges of energy are intense, aggressive and feral. It feels like an angry, sleepless, feral little boy trying to claw its way out of my chest and scream at everyone. Centuries of unheard pain. It’s dark. But whatever you do, don’t carry this for someone else. Big warn there. Not yours to hold, unless it is actually yours. Honestly, it needs to be felt by the person, otherwise growth and change doesn’t happen.

This relates to a lot of the work I’ve been doing over the past year, honestly, but I’m finally seeing others in the same juxtaposition. A lot of women, sharing their experiences with the anger and physical abuse of men and masculine energies. And also men sharing their experiences or just inadvertently showing it; anger, confusion, trauma, manic episodes, etc. It’s odd to watch something I was deeply immersed in, for over a year, slowly rise up within the collective, like some sort of slowly-lived premonition.

The biggest challenge in this kind of energy is that just when you think you have the aim perfect, and the situation figured out, the target moves. And it feels like this could apply to pretty much anyone’s circumstances, career, job, finances, or even challenging relationships.

This week, the masculine becomes more illuminated in its descent into the underworld experience of the dark night of the soul. The fear, the anger, the unseen is smoldering hot. But the real defeat is the complete lack of recognition for the feminine ascent from that very darkness. The awakening to these hidden emotions within them, after centuries of neglect and rejection of those emotions. And mostly, that trickle down effect upon the women. But that part will most likely take just as long to fully unravel within the men of our lineages as it did creating it. And so into the future we must lean.

This is the crossroads where we meet in the jungle. As one group leaves the cave of a dark night of the soul or initiation, another enters. You’re always the smartest in the room when the lesson is new. It’s not until you realize the vastness of the lesson that you realize how little you actually know. This is the masculine collective, realizing there is more than what they have been working with in the physical realm. And so the descent into madness begins.

Metaphorically, this is where we are collectively, as a whole, clashing. Individually, this could be the pressure point that forces you out of a toxic marriage, the job you’ve kept simply for security and safety but deep down hate, or just the mindset that holds you back from creating art and living your dreams. It is the moment the Universe forces you to ground and come back to your body, rediscover your path and align with who you truly are. This can be daunting if you’ve been floating. Have you been floating? This is what The Virgo Lunar Eclipse, on Thursday, is for—earthing. It’s always when all hope feels lost, that the Universe comes in with an unexpected surprise. Maybe this is also why the target keeps moving?

Nonetheless, the shame of this collective is harsh and insidious and that energy is not yours to hold, until, or unless, it is yours. And as we mentioned in the monthly reading, the projections are on the rise, so be cautious with your discernment of your emotions. The sleeplessness, the manic disposition, the mental chaos…the chemical chaos (I’m hearing)…is it really you? Because I’m picking up on a lot of cords here, where someone has no idea they’ve been projecting this whole time and the closer they get to that realization, the harder their energetic throw. Someone, or someone’s spirit, does not want you to know the truth. The confusion is real but the apprehension, well that’s a whole other thing.

Why are you so apprehensive? The cards for this week suggest there was once a time when you wanted what you have now. This collective is being represented as the Empress with the King of Swords. These could be suggestions to approaching this current energy, but let’s look a little deeper. For many this is the opportunity at hand. But the chaos is diluting it. Is that protection though? Protection from something that is being worked out, on the outside?

Whatever it may be, The Wheel of Fortune signifies, the tables have turned and the position this collective is now in, is the exact position of someone you were once under, maybe in authority. A paradox. This can be a bit of a mind fuck in itself, but imagine switching roles with someone you dislike. Someone who hurt you. Or someone who just made you feel insecure or not good enough. Is there something they held, some kind of disposition or way of being, that would ultimately benefit you now? This is like realizing you are more like your mother or father than you wish. Maybe in some sort of cunning confidence, shamelessness, stealth, or stern discipline? 

Aye…whatever it is, in that mirror lies your key. As if the very thing you disliked in this person is the missing puzzle piece to some kind of unrelenting blockage. There’s a bit of inception in that. Also the chance for unexpected jealousy, competition or aggression.

Regardless, be careful not to get caught in your own protections, as the intricacies of a co-dependent relationship or dynamic will be revealing themselves once and for all. Be aware of the energy of your surroundings, because this energy could pop up unexpectedly. It’s this crushing, gnawing, soul aching yearn and cry for help, but it’s the kind that comes from a child, probably an inner child. And pushing past it is like sleep paralysis, or attempting to scream in a nightmare, but nothing comes out and you can’t move. But the feeling, the sensation, the clarsentience, is deafening.

These paradigm shifts can be challenging but you are rising. Own it. It’s time to take things to the next level—whether that be stepping into power, facing a fear, or further integrating your gifts and practices. Things will be moving and shaking before you know it…and the pot is stirring in the distance. The Universe is preparing you to be on your toes but in a way that is aligned with you; flow state. But it’s also giving “don’t start no shit, won’t be no shit.” The problem is, once again, there is an unhinged masculine collective who doesn’t seem to quite know their place right now, so beware and…yea, take no shit.

Nonetheless, there will be a victory this month. between the 6 of wands (victory) here and the 8 of wands (movement), is a 2 of wands (a choice). So we’re talking about the space between this victory and where you know this victory is taking you in the future. This could be seen as—what you do with the incoming energy, determines the energy around the victory. Or, this could be seen as the choices we make as we await the reward for our victory, shifting the energy around how those rewards come in. Either way, the 6 of wands is a mid point, not then end goal, so keep that in mind. We made it but we still got a ways to go.

We also have the Justice and Star cards representing the past, leading up to this victory moment here. Whatever we were working towards previously, whatever we were healing for or from, that was meant for this timeline, right now. So this Pluto in Aquarius Era, was being prepared for in the past timelines. You might be seeing the past return with new opportunities to course correct. Maybe you had to bite your tongue or hold yourself back in some way before. Maybe the Universe held us back. And now, the Universe is pushing your behind, setting a fire beneath you to move, but you’re a bit apprehensive. Now, do we see how the past meets the future? Aha!

Nonetheless, it was like you were put on the back burner in some way, for whatever reason, preparation, growth, karma, and now, the Universe is ready to put you back on display. But as above, so below, there is a divine timing and a universal balance to this process as well. Meaning, you may need to be patient with the additional turbulence. What you perceive now, as being slowed down, could be more due to the Universe working out the kinks around you, whereas before, the kinks were being worked out, more so, within you.

So, here we have this juggling with apprehension—overthinking, obsessing, second guessing, imposters, unexpected competition or conflict, and the chaos of the calm before the storm. This is where Virgo in the South Node is asking us, ‘where can you let go?’ The Eclipse in Virgo will highlight this the most. So where are you trying to control something that is refusing to be controlled. That is where your shadow work lies this week.

Lastly, your true north in this case, will give you uncharted territory. You may be called to make choices and decisions you’ve never made without some sort of advisory. This could be extremely liberating—but again, the apprehension—may also test your self-trust. You may also find yourself fighting the world until you just do the damn thing. If you feel this rebel yell, that’s the Aquarian GO sign. Stop thinking, start moving.

The week ends with Mercury Retrograding in Aries, on Saturday, as the moon moves into Libra. If you’re dealing with challenges being thrown at you, do not take no for an answer. I know, I know, it seems like maybe you should slow down, right? No. This is your sense of self being tested. Mercury is in Aries, but it doesn’t mean that owning that sense of self won’t come without some kind of fight. And if you’re the one creating the unnecessary challenge (I don’t mean Aquarian rebellion, but rather Leo, drama) that’s another story. The clarity to that should be coming through around the Eclipse on Thursday though, so use it to help you navigate your steps throughout this retrograde period.

Rest is rebellion, the ancestors say. But rest is not the only thing your body needs. She wants music, she wants flavor, she wants dirt beneath her toes and wind in her hair. She wants to feel, she wants to experience, she wants to express her truth.

This is a message about inviting your very essence and artistic edge to speak through you in this collective rebellion. As well as, inviting your inner healer, the deep truth of your soul and your souls wisdom to take the forefront. And release the very thing that you are overthinking, obsessing, infuriated about being unable to fix. It will find its way, just as everything else eventually does, the ancestors say.

You will feel much more powerful, much more in tune after this eclipse, use it. Don’t be afraid of your power. It may feel like everything that was “stopping” you from stepping into your full potential suddenly stops. But it is you, who has finally overcome it. Can you see that?

This is a time to re-root your energy with Mother Gaia. Connect with your body and shift your daily routines so that they sustain you and sustain the Great Mother. You could feel an urge to shift your diet, upgrade your fitness routine, try a new holistic practice or become more eco friendly. Follow that instinct.

You may also feel a calling home to your own ancestors to learn more about your ancestral magic, to hear their stories and to heal their traumas. Speak to them. Create an alter for them. Leave them offerings. And be open to their messages.

On that note, they do wish that I bring to the collective awareness the underlying fear within the masculine collective. There are certain male ancestors that may feel unsafe in this current climate, due to their own distrust in the magic, in the progression and rebellious acts of women, and the shifting of power that we are currently experiencing. As above, so below. They are also healing in the spirit, as we heal on Earth. If you sense strong fear or aggression, ground, and call upon the female ancestors or your highest good, to step forth and guide you.
